Day
1 - We start our holiday by travelling north to the beautiful
Speyside region and the welcoming Nethybridge Hotel.
Day 2 Enjoy a half day excursion to nearby Aviemore,
situated in the Cairngorms National Park. Aviemore is a village
"for all seasons" firmly set in the 21st century.
There is a diverse range of pusuits available for tourists and
visitors of all ages together with a year round programme of
festivals and events and plenty of shops and cosy cafes to wile
away the hours.
Day 3 - Today we we leave Nethybridge after breakfast
and travel to capital of the Highlands, Inverness where we will
spend some time before driving down the length of the beautiful
Loch Ness to Fort William. Here we will be staying at the Alexandra
Hotel in the centre of the town
Day 4 - We have a full day excursion today which takes
us through some spectacular scenery as we drive along the banks
of Loch Lochy and down to the Kyle of Lochalsh where we cross
the Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye. The skyline will be dominated
by the famous Skye hills, the Cuillins as we journey on to Portree
where there will be time to look round before heading home to
Fort William.
Day 5 - Our last day sees us leave the hotel after breakfast
and head for the House of Bruar, which is one of Perthshire's
main attractions. The House of Bruar is Scotland's premier country
clothing and gourmet produce store. Situated just ten miles
north of Pitlochry at the foot of the stunning Falls of Bruar.
From here we return all our passengers to their respective pick
up points and bid you farewel |

Day
1 - Today we head to our first destination which is the
Fair city of Perth. We will be spending the next two nights
in the Salutation Hotel which is situated in the centre of Perth
close to all the city's amenities.
Day 2 - Exploring the ancient Kingdom of Fife is the
order for today. Firstly we head to the birthplace of golf,
St Andrews, where there will be time for sightseeing. Even if
you have no interest in golf there is plenty to do and see here
in this busy university town which is steeped in history and
culture. We continue our tour along the picturesque Fife coastline
by visiting the attractive fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther
and Pittenweem before returning to Perth.
Day 3 - Time to back our bags and move north to Fort
William where we will be staying at the Ben Nevis Hotel and
Leisure Club. En route will be stopping at the bustling and
attractive town of Pitlochry where there will be time to look
round and enjoy the sights before going on into the Tay Forest
for a stop at Allean where we can take in the splendour of the
Queens View.
Day 4 - We have a full day excursion today which takes
us through some spectacular scenery as we drive along the banks

Day 5 - After breakfast we leave Fort William and start
our journey south.
For lunch we will stop at Loch Lomond Shores which is Scotland's
most spectacular visitor destination combining the beautiful
environment with an outstanding mixture of leisure and shopping
experiences overlooking the majesty of Loch Lomond at Balloch.
From here the homeward journey continues by dropping passengers
at their respective pick up points.

Day
1 - Today we head to our first destination which has been
called the unofficial capital of the West Highlands - or the
"Gateway to the Isles". It is of course Oban. The
panoramic views of the mountains, lochs and islands have captivated
artists, authors, composers, and poets for centuries are as
striking now as they always were. On arrival we check into the
Royal Hotel and get ready for our evening meal.
Day 2 - Today is one of the highlight of the tour when
we take the ferry to Mull. We land at Craignure and drive across
Mull to Fionnphort for the short ferry crossing to the enchanting
and magical island of Iona. There will be plenty of time to
explore this fascinating island including the famous 13th century
Iona Abbey before returning to Mull and Oban.
Day 3 - Time to leave Oban and head north to Fort William
where we stop for lunch (lunch today is included in the tour
price).
After lunch we have a scenic journey along the side of Loch
Lagan as we head to Speyside we will pass Ardverikie House,
which inspired the never-never land of Glenbogle in the BBC
series Monarch of the Glen, before reaching our second destination
and the Nethybridge Hotel.
Day 4 - A one hour Loch Ness Cruise which takes you over
the deepest part of the Loch and gives superb views of the ruins
of Urquhart Castle is on the cards for today. Once back on dry
land we will drive up the loch side to Inverness where there
will be time for sightseeing and shopping before returning to
Nethybridge for our evening meal.
Day 5 - After breakfast we set off for the Tay Forest
where we stop at Allean and take in the splendour of the Queens
View before heading on to the bustling and attractive town of
Pitlochry where there will be time to look round and enjoy the
sights before continuing our homeward journey and dropping all
passengers at their respective pick up points |

Day
1 - Our first destination is the north Yorkshire spa town
of Harrogate, famous for its tea shops, flower shows, turkish
baths, antique shops, and the Harrogate International Conference
Centre. The town is also famous for its associations with the
great English crime novelist Agatha Christie, who "disappeared"
here for a few days in the 1930s. For the next three nights
we will be staying at the beautiful Cairn Hotel.
Day 2 - No visit to Yorkshire would be complete without
seeing the City of York itself. With numerous award winning
attractions York will surprise, inspire and stimulate you with
its stunning cathedral, the world's best railway museum, and
the finest UK Viking attraction to name but a few. Today you
will have time to stroll round the old walled city and experience
all it has to offer at first hand.
Day 3 - Today's half day trip is to Harewood House, home
to the Queen's cousin the Earl of Harewood, and one of Englands'
Treasure Houses. This stately home is the current holder of
Yorkshire Tourist Board "Visitor Attraction of the Year"
award. The house displays some of the finest work of interior
designer Robert Adam and Master Cabinet Maker Thomas Chippendale
together with an outstanding collection of fine and decorative
art. There are also beautiful gardens and woodland and lakeside
walks.
Day 4 - We say "goodbye" to Yorkshire today
and head west into Lancashire.
En route to our second destination we will visit Blackpool,
the most popular seaside resort in the UK. From Blackpool we
will travel round Morecambe Bay to Grange-over-Sands and the
Cumbria Grand Hotel, our home for the next three nights.
Day 5 - The best way to experience the beauty of the
Lakes is to have a sail on them. So today weboard a steamer
at Lakeside and take a short lake cruise to Bowness where the
coach will be waiting to take us on to the charming village
of Cartmel, famous for its racecourse and 12th century Priory
with beautiful stained glass windows and modern sculptures
Day 6 - Today we are going to tour the northern lakes
travelling north by the shores of Lake Windermere through Windermere
itself and then on to Ambleside. From Ambleside we follow the
road along the banks of Thirlmere to Keswick and on to the market
town of Derwentwater. We head back to the hotel via Conniston
Water which once echoed to the roar of Donald Campbell's Bluebird
to complete our round trip of Lakeland.
Day 7 - We leave the hotel after breakfast and make our
way north stopping at the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village, for
the chance to do some last minute shopping at some of the 50
leading stores which offer up to 50% off rrp all year round,
before continuing our journey and dropping all passengers at
their respective pick up points. |
