is the highlight of the tour when we take the ferry across the
Firth of Lorne to the spectacular Isle of Mull. We land at Craignure
and drive across Mull to Fionnphort for the short ferry crossing
to the enchanting and magical island of Iona. There will be
plenty of time to explore this fascinating island including
the famous 13th century Iona Abbey, one of Scotland's most historic
and sacred sites, before returning to Mull and Oban.
Half day An enjoyable and relaxing half-day excursion
which takes us ten miles South of Oban to Easdale and, more
intriguingly, to the Clachan Bridge - the only bridge over the
Atlantic! The road leads to the Island of Seil, the most northerly
of the Slate Islands. Seil is an interesting island, and one
of remarkable contrasts; plus a history that adds greatly to
its fascination |
