Say hello to 2026 in style with our Lake District New Years break to the Cumbria Grand Hotel.
Arrive and enjoy your welcome cocktail before sitting down to a delicious 3-course carvery dinner followed by evening entertainment. On Hogmanay we head out in the coach for a tour of the Lakes visiting Bowness and Ambleside then head back to the hotel to begin the celebrations! A chilled glass of champagne awaits you before your 4-course traditional dinner followed by a live band to bring in the New Year. On New Years Day enjoy a leisurely brunch, with afternoon tea served in the lounge at 2pm. Another evening of delicious food and entertainment tonight as well!

TUES 30TH:
After you have settled in, please join us in the Jacobean bar lounge with roaring log fire for a pre-dinner glass of chilled Prosecco. Your delicious 3-course carvery style dinner is served in the restaurant between 6.00pm & 8.30pm. Coffee will be served before tonight’s live entertainment show in the restaurant.
WED 31ST: HOGMANAY
After a full English breakfast join the coach to have a scenic tour around the Lakes or relax at the hotel with a soup & sandwich lunch. We tour the beautiful wintry scenery of the Lake District today with visits to Bowness on Windermere and Ambleside. Back in the hotel this evening its time to get ready for the celebrations ahead - grab your chilled glass of Champagne in the Lounge Bar before as tonight’s festivities begin with our Gala Hogmanay Dinner in the restaurant, served between 6.00pm & 8.30pm. As coffee is served, the fabulous party band will entertain you, fill the dancefloor and see in the New Year with a traditional countdown and Auld Lang Syne.
THURS 1ST: NEW YEARS DAY
Have a lie-in then enjoy a refreshing glass of Bucks Fizz and a late brunch breakfast, being served today between 9am & 11am in the restaurant. A buffet Afternoon Tea will be served between 2pm & 3pm. Tonight’s meal is a delicious hot and cold buffet served between 6.00pm & 8.30pm, followed by tonight’s evening entertainment in the lounge bar.
FRI 2ND:
After a hearty English breakfast this morning, rejoin the coach as we take the journey back home today after our wonderful New Year holiday in the Lake District.
