Cancellation of Booking by Strathmore Travel
It may become necessary for us to cancel your booking in certain unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or if the group does not reach minimum numbers. In this case we will offer you an alternative break to the value of your original booking or a break of lesser value where we will refund you the difference in price or a full refund of any monies paid.
Insurance is not included in the price of the breaks. We recommend all customers have adequate cover before travelling. We do not provide an insurance policy.
We accept group bookings for our brochure tours and also tailor holidays specifically for groups. Should a group booking be made on a published tour, we reserve the right to accept payment/s by the group leader only. Payments made by individual group members are not permitted. In addition, any changes to your booking must be through the group leader only. All other terms and conditions apply.
Tour Coaches & Seating
It may become necessary to use a coach with different seat numbers to those shown in the published seating plan. We cannot accept bookings conditional on the provision of specific seats and accept no liability if the seat provided is in a different position than that originally booked. Additionally on rare occasions we reserve the right to change your seat number/s for operational reasons. Connecting taxis and minibuses may be used on a transfer element of your holiday.
Luggage & Personal Belongings
You will receive your suitcase labels 7 days before your departure date. These will detail the tour name, pick-up point and seat number - your driver will be there to assist you upon your arrival at the coach. Please double check you have all your person belongings and baggage before departing the hotel. Strathmore Travel will not accept responsibility for any loss or damages.
We kindly ask that you take time to fill in your comments card on your return journey home. Your experience is extremely important to us and your comments will help us to build a wider range of breaks tailored to your requirements.
Please note that not all of our holidays and excursions will be suitable for those with mobility issues or disabilities. Please ask at the time of booking if your proposed holiday will be suitable for your needs. Wheelchairs are permitted on our coaches, however the driver will not be obliged to assist with the lifting of these items on and off of the coach due to heath & safety restrictions. Scooters are no longer permitted on our coaches due to health & safety regulations.
If you have any complaints during your holiday it is essential that you notify either the hotel manager or the coach driver as soon as possible. Your driver/hotel manager will do their best to resolve the problem for you, but if they are unable to do this you should write to us and explain what your complaint is about within 28 days after the holiday.
