Set in the Edwardian resort of Grange-Over-Sands, join us this year for a fabulous 3 days away with live evening entertainment from Dixieland favourites on Friday night, and Big Band hits on Saturday night.  A full day touring the Lakes is included too visiting some of the areas most beautiful and popular tourist hotspots. Enjoy welcoming drinks on arrival, live acts each night and 2 nights stay in our Cumbria Grand Hotel overlooking Morecambe Bay.

Tour of The Lakes & Grange-Over-Sands

On Saturday a day full of breathtaking scenery as you tour through the stunning Lake District and enjoy visits to some of the most popular towns in the area. Travel past Lake Windermere towards Ambleside where can stop and soak up the wonderful views before travelling to Keswick. Here you can visit one of the towns   interesting museums or local galleries, stroll to Derwent Lake and take some photos, or just relax and have some lunch in one of the many restaurants and cafes.  On our road back to the hotel enjoy a journey by Lake Ullswater and the scenic fells of the Kirkstone Pass, before a stop in the pretty Edwardian town of Grange-Over-Sands which has some of the finest parks and gardens on the Cumbria coast.

 

Live Evening Entertainment

Enjoy 2 evenings of live music with a Dixieland band on Friday, and the Mike James Sound Band on Saturday to keep you dancing all night long.

 

 

The Cumbria Grand Hotel - Lake District

Commanding stunning views over Morecambe Bay, the Cumbria Grand Hotel sits nestled on the hillside of Grange-over-Sands. The General Manager and staff make the welcome warm and inviting in this impressive Victorian hotel, full of fine original features. The hotel also offers a snooker room, table tennis and woodland walks in the 20 acres of grounds.
