Today we visit the beautiful stately home of 5th Earl of Dumfries, and now better known for King Charles III restoration works, Dumfries House near Cumnock. The house is set in 2000 acre estate and houses the largest collection of Chippendale furniture in the UK. Enjoy a 1 hour guided tour of the house where you can view its luxurious rooms and antiques, before enjoying many walks within the walled gardens and estate grounds. A delicious Afternoon Tea will be served in the main building, with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones & tea/coffee.
