LONDON & THAMES CRUISE
This morning we have a full day excursion to London, starting with a cruise along the Thames River. Climb aboard at Westminster Pier and cruise through the heart of London, admiring famous landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, the Tate Modern, and the world-famous Globe Theatre. Sit back and relax as skippers and crew provide you with an unparallelled adventure. You have the rest of the afternoon to explore the numerous world-class museums, including the British Museum, the National Gallery, and Tate Modern. Enjoy the bustling, multicultural and cosmopolitan city that offers a mix of historic pubs and modern bars.
WINDSOR CASTLE
After breakfast in the hotel, join the coach for a full day excursion to Windsor. In the morning we visit Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, official residence of the British monarchy and a historic fortress that has been home to 40 monarchs since its founding by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. Then you have the rest of the day to explore the town and its beautiful Windsor Great Park and other buildings such as the Parish Church, and the Guildhall, built by Sir Christopher Wren in 1690. Beyond the historic core are many interesting streets with fine examples of Georgian and Victorian architecture, particularly south of the Castle toward the Long Walk.
