Today you enjoy a scenic journey north to visit the Isle of Skye. Travelling from Fort William along the banks ofLoch Lochy, Loch Duich & Loch Long where you will stop for a short time to enjoy the magnificent views at Eilean Donan Castle, before passing by Kyle of Lochalsh and crossing the bridge “over the sea to Skye”. Sit back and enjoy the breath-taking views of the famous Black Cuillin mountains, the small isles Scalpay and Raasay before arriving at the beautiful harbour town of Portree, where you will have time to sample all the local shops and attractions and enjoy the unforgettable views over Loch Portree. After your enjoyable Hebridean excursion, the coach will travel back to the hotel in time for dinner and evening entertainment.

OBAN

Spend your day exploring the capital of North Argyll, Oban The town itself lies in a crescent occupying the hills surrounding Oban Bay and is a busy town with cafes and restaurants, and wide selection of activities and attractions such as McCaig’s Tower, the Colosseum lookalike which stands above the town and features in many of the postcards to be found on George Street and Oban Distillery.

INVERNESS

Spend your morning travelling through the beautiful scenery of the Highlands towards Inverness passing by Urquhart Castle & Loch Ness before arriving in Inverness. Here you have a few hours to explore at leisure before rejoining the coach and returning to Fort William in the afternoon.
