As the name suggests on this ‘Grand’ 5-day holiday we enjoy some of the best scenery the Lake District & Yorkshire have to offer. There is a full day tour around the Lake District as well as a visit to the nearby Yorkshire Dales, Kendal and Bowness. You will be staying in our very own Cumbria Grand Hotel, Grange-Over-Sands which has panoramic views of Morecambe Bay and set in lovely private grounds this holiday is certainly not one to miss out on!

Bowness & Kendal
Begin the day with a stop in the ancient village of Cartmel, famous for it’s 12th century priory, racecourse and also the home of sticky toffee pudding. After which we travel to Lakeside where you will then enjoy a lovely visit to Bowness-On-Windermere. You can enjoy time here for lunch in one of the many cafes or restaurants and relax to enjoy the wonderful Windermere views. We then visit Kendal where you can explore the market town at your leisure before we return to the hotel in Grange-Over-Sands.
Tour of the Lakes
A day full of breathtaking scenery as you tour through the stunning Lake District and enjoy visits to some of the most popular towns in the area. Travel past Lake Windermere towards Ambleside where can stop and soak up the wonderful views before travelling to Grasmere and Keswick. On our road back to the hotel enjoy a scenic journey through the fells before a stop in the pretty Edwardian town of Grange-Over-Sands which has some of the finest gardens on the coast.
Yorkshire Dales
The picturesque Yorkshire Dales are always a beautiful place to visit at any time of year. With rolling hills and pretty villages there is plenty to see and explore on todays' outing. You will have stops in the market town of Skipton & Grassington before returning to the hotel in the Lakes in time for your evening meal in the restaurant this evening.
