BALMORAL CASTLE & CREAM TEA

After breakfast, we journey to Balmoral Castle. You will have the morning explore the castle and Estate grounds.  We have a stop at Crathie Kirk before spending the afternoon in the Victorian village of Ballater which sits in the heart of Royal Deeside, and enjoy a lovely cream tea in the Old Ballater Station now known as the Rothesay Rooms.

MORAY COASTAL TOUR

After breakfast in the hotel this morning, we travel northwards and take the stunning coastal route along through Lossiemouth, Hopeman & Burghhead passing some of the most idyllic beaches on the North Coast. We stop in Findhorn and Burghhead for some time to enjoy and explore this peaceful area on foot. We also stop at the Sueno's Stone near Forres, a 7 metre tall Pictish stone with ornate carvings dating back over 1000 years. 

BRODIE CASTLE, STRATHSPEY STEAM TRAIN & AVIEMORE

Today we visit Brodie Castle, ancestral home of the Brodie clan for over 400 years, although their family seat has been here since the 12th century. We then journey to Broomhill and board the Strathspey steam train for our journey from to Aviemore where you will have the rest of your afternoon to explore the bustling town and all it’s charms before returning to the hotel.
