Today we visit York, beautiful at any time of year but especially so at Christmas when the city comes alive with the wooden chalets lined along Parliament Square mixed with the sound of carol singers and the smell of roasting chestnuts. Enjoy a full day here to shop for traditional gifts and crafts, followed by dinner this evening in the hotel.
LEEDS & SKIPTON
Explore the Leeds for retail therapy this morning, and then a tour through the Dales to Skipton. Visit the market town and enjoy the atmosphere in the square before returning to the hotel in Harrogate for dinner this evening.
