Discover the wonderful collection of items on display relating to Mary's life and the beauty and significance of the 12 century Abbey. Why not explore the 19th Century Castle Jail as well, now a museum giving insights into previous famous Jedburgh residents including the mathematician Mary Somerville, David Brewster who invented the kaleidoscope and James Veitch, astronomer. We travel next to Kelso where you have time at leisure to explore. Why not visit the 12th century Abbey. Time here then travel to a nearby hotel for High Tea before returning home after 5pm.
