Grand Tour of The Lakes

SOUTH LAKES TOUR

A day full of breathtaking scenery as you tour through the stunning Lake District and enjoy visits to some of the most popular towns in the area including Ambleside, Grasmere & Bowness. The lovely town of Ambleside sits at the top of Lake Windermere and is full of lovely shops to explore, along with the stunning scenery. In Grasmere as well you can explore the little shops, and time in Bowness-on-Windermere before we return back to the hotel in Grange.

NORTH LAKES TOUR

A full day tour of the North Lakes as we journey towards the market town of Keswick. Overlooking Derwentwater and the fells beyond, you have time at leisure to explore the quaint shops and attractions before we tour along the banks of beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake and have a stop in Cockermouth. Here you could visit Wordsworth House & Garden, the many shops and cafes before we return to the hotel in time for dinner.

ULLSWATER CRUISE & LOWTHER CASTLE & GARDENS

A wonderful day awaits you as we journey to Lake Ullswater this morning to enjoy a relaxing steam paddle cruise of the Lake. The scenery will be spectacular here in full summer bloom. We then travel to nearby Lowther Castle - a 12th century gem which is undergoing renovations to bring it back to its former glory, with elaborate gardens, exhibitions,  fabulous café and shop, you will have plenty of time to explore it all!
