Board the coach and join your fellow passengers on the journey to Wales. We have a stop in the Midlands tonight to break up the journey, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner this evening in the Mercure Haydock Hotel. Enjoy use of the leisure facilities during your stay in this lovely 4 star hotel near Warrington.

SUN

After breakfast we depart the hotel and journey through the beautiful Welsh countryside towards Carmarthen. We have a stop in Shrewsbury for lunch and time to explore at leisure before our afternoon journey through Wales before arriving in Carmarthen and the Ivy Bush Hotel late afternoon. You will have time to unpack before your delicious evening meal in the hotel restaurant.

MON

Enjoy a day of rest in Carmarthen today at your leisure. Carmarthen is known for its deep history as the oldest town in Wales, with attractions like its castle ruins and market, alongside nearby attractions such as the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the picturesque coastline of Carmarthenshire making it a good base for exploring the "Garden of Wales"

TUES

After a hearty breakfast we journey along the South Wales Coast to visit the popular seaside resort of Tenby. Here you will find plenty of eclectic shops, narrow alleyways and pavement cafes overlooking the Blue Flag beach. At low tide St Catherine's Island is linked to the mainland. Enjoy time here at your leisure to explore.

WED

Today we take a scenic tour through the stunning Pembrokeshire scenery and visit Haverfordwest and St David's this morning. The market town of Haverfordwest is resting on the Western Claddeau and offers attractions such as castle and priory ruins, Spitfire Museum and plenty shops to browse through. Then on to beautiful St David's city, where you can visit the cathedral and the resting place of Wales Patron Saint, St David. There are also over 200 other listed ancient buildings and structures to see here, notably including the 14th-century Tower Gate, Bishops Palace and the Celtic Old Cross.

THURS

This morning we journey to Swansea, where you’ll find a lively hub of museums, medieval landmarks and varied shopping. The Maritime Quarter houses trendy quayside cafes and a beach. Other attractions include the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea Castle ruins, and botanical Plantasia pyramid. Oxford Street is home to chain brands and Swansea Market, the country's largest indoor market. You’ll have time to explore Swansea at your leisure. After lunch we travel a short distance to Llanelli where you can its natural beauty and cultural experiences at leisure.  Enjoy coastal walks, local history, and attractions such as the Millennium Coastal Park with its paths and wildlife, the historic Llanelli House, and Parc Howard Museum & Gardens.

FRI

After breakfast this morning we say goodbye to the Ivy Bush Hotel and travel north on the beginning of our journey home.  We stop in the City of Chester for some time to explore and have lunch. Arriving in our overnight hotel and enjoy your evening meal and restful nights sleep.
