HERRIOT COUNTRY, WENSLEYDALE CREAMERY & YORKSHIRE DALES
Today we journey through the beautiful Herriot Country and stop in the charming market town of Thirsk. You’ll have some time to explore here before our next stop in Northallerton. This county town offers a blend of rural beauty and industrial heritage. In the afternoon we visit the Wensleydale Creamery. On the way back to the hotel we pass the Yorkshire Dales National Park, then through Grassington and back in time for our evening meal.
MALTON & WHITBY
In the morning we journey to the Food Capital of Yorkshire - Malton where you’ll have time to explore the elegant buildings and plentiful shops on offer. We then journey on to the seaside town of Whitby, famous for its fresh seafood. There are many renowned shops like the Magpie Café where you can enjoy some tasty fish & chips for lunch. You’ll have the afternoon to explore the picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets & dramatic cliff-top Abbey.
HARROGATE & AFTERNOON TEA
You will have the morning at leisure to explore the elegant spa town of Harrogate, famous for it’s Victorian origins as a luxurious spa resort, Turkish Baths and lush green spaces. Return to the Hotel in the afternoon for a delightful mini- Afternoon Tea in the Cairn Hotel.
