Join the coach and enjoy the scenic journey today through stunning Argyll & Bute towards our hotel. The Grey Gull Hotel offers an enviable position by Loch Gilp and is your comfortable abode for the next 3 nights.
LOCH FYNE & INVERARAY CASTLE
This morning after breakfast in the hotel, we depart Ardrishaig and travel north along the banks of Loch Fyne to the historic Lochside town of Inveraray. Here you will have a tour of the Castle and gardens, along with time to explore the town of Inveraray at your leisure. There is plenty to see here with its fabulous jail and plenty of gift shops and places to grab a bite to eat. Return to the hotel late afternoon in time for dinner this evening.
OBAN
This morning we travel north through Kilmartin Glen and arrive in Oban. Famous for its seafood and friendly locals, you will have time to explore the town at your leisure, which is full of gift shops and attractions.
DEPARTURE
After a hearty Scottish breakfast in the hotel this morning, enjoy some leisure time in Ardishaig this morning before we take the journey back home.
GREY GULL HOTEL - ARDRISHAIG
The hotel was originally built in 1872 as a Hunting Lodge for the Poltalloch Estate. It sits in a prime location bordered by the historic Crinan Canal and Loch Gilp, close to where they both flow into Loch Fyne. The hotel offers a bar, lounge and restaurant with the freshest seafood always on the menu. Some rooms offer loch views, and are ensuite with TV, tea/coffee making facility and wi-fi. Lovely walks can be enjoyed around the area.
