SATURDAYEnjoy a full day excursion to the Ulverston Dickensian Christmas Festival. Set in the beautiful market town of Ulverston, this festival recreates bygone times with its period dress parades, live street entertainers and horse-drawn carriages – it’s no surprise this is one of the most popular Dickensian festivals in the country! There is also a magical Christmas market, perfect for finding thoughtful gifts or enjoying tasty treats. On our journey back to the hotel, we have a visit to Cartmel, the home of sticky toffee pudding. Enjoy a delicious carvery style dinner this evening and entertainment in the hotel.
SUNDAYAfter a hearty English breakfast, enjoy some time at Gretna Outlet for a spot of Christmas shopping on the return journey back home.
