FRIDAYEnjoy the journey to the Lake District today, with a stop in Bowness before we arrive at the Cumbria Grand Hotel in Grange-Over-Sands and enjoy a delicious 3-course carvery dinner in the restaurant this evening.
SATURDAYOn our first stop out today we enjot some time to explore Grange-over-Sands, which is full of lovely boutique shops, ornamental gardens and seaside walks. We then have a visit to the ancient village of Cartmel, the home of sticky toffee pudding. And in the afternoon we travel to the Ulverston Dickensian Christmas Festival. Set in the beautiful market town of Ulverston, this festival recreates bygone times with its period dress parades, live street entertainers and horse-drawn carriages – it’s no surprise this is one of the most popular Dickensian festivals in the country! There is also a magical Christmas Market, perfect for finding thoughtful gifts or enjoying tasty treats. Enjoy a delicious carvery style-dinner this evening and entertainment in the hotel.
SUNDAYAfter a hearty English breakfast, enjoy some time at Gretna Outlet for a spot of Christmas shopping on the return journey back home.
