YORK & KNARESBOROUGH
After a hearty English breakfast in the hotel this morning, join the coach and enjoy a full day out to the medeival city of York. There's all day to explore at leisure - with time to visit the many attractions such as the gothic York Minster and Merchants Hall, wander along the York walls which enclose the city, sip a drink by The River Ouse and watch the world go by or simply stroll along the cobbled streets and enjoy the city’s diverse café culture. The city if sull of surprises you will be captivate here for hours on end before we return the Harrogate with a stop in the market town of Knaresborough on route. This wonderful gem of Yorkshire is perched on the River Nidd and boasts many shops, attractions and historic sights - even a mysterious cave that turns items to stone!
STEAM TRAIN & SKIPTON CRUISE
After a full English breakfast this morning, enjoy your trip on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Train which runs towards the pretty market town of Skipton. There's time to explore here at leisure before joining the rest of the group for a relaxing canal cruise along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. We travel back to Harrogate through the wonderfully scenic Yorkshire Dales. Returning to the hotel in time for your delicious evening dinner in the main restaurant.
HARROGATE & HAREWOOD HOUSE
After a hearty breakfast in the hotel, you have the morning at leisure in Harrogate to explore the beautiful spa town. Attractions include Royal Pump Room Museum, Bettys Tearoom, Valley Gardens & RHS Harlow Carr. Join the coach early afternoon for the short journey to visit Harewood House. Known for its Robert Adam interiors and close links to the Royal Family, Harewood House is a stunning example of the 18th century country house set in classic Capability Brown landscapes. Enjoy your guided tour of the house this afternoon and explore the wonderful gardens and grounds before we return to the hotel in time for evening meal.
