A day to enjoy the ’Queen of Welsh Resorts’ Llandudno at your leisure and explore all its wonderful sights. Stroll along the promenade, take in the charming pier, enjoy a ride on the famous tramway or sample the modern shops. The stunning seaside town offers so much to see and do you really are spoilt for choice.
BEAUMARIS & PUFFIN ISLE CRUISE
Following breakfast this morning we take a drive along the Welsh coastline and cross the Menai Bridge to Anglesey. You will have time to explore the seaside town of Beaumaris at leisure and enjoy the shops, beach and castle views before we board our cruiser and enjoy a tour through the Menai Strait to visit Ynys Seiriol, or 'Puffin Isle' as it's more locally known. Steeped in history dating back to 1100's, this isle is now a bird sanctuary and nesting site in the Summer months for many birds, including the pretty puffins. You'll enjoy a 1 hours cruise with commentary before we rejoin the coach and return to Llandudno after our enjoyable day in Anglesey! (cruise subject to weather)
SNOWDONIA & PORTMEIRION
Snowdonia is the second largest National Park after the Lake District, and you will travel through the spectacular scenery of mountains and lakes today, then enjoy a trip to the quaint village of Portmeirion, famous backdrop for the TV series The Prisoner. The scenery of the village really is something to behold, and the architecture, gardens and award winning restaurants keep tourists coming back time after time. The Central Piazza is well worth spending time in with its Gothic Pavillion and wonderful Hercules Statue and don’t forget to visit the lovely shops in Salutation Square selling lots of local produce. We travel back to the hotel through the beautiful mountain scenery of Snowdonia.

The Somerset Hotel is a grand building with plenty of history and fabulous views out across the bay. Our 86 en-suite bedrooms offer a range of sizes from singles up to family rooms sleeping 6 people. We have our own restaurant, coffee shop and bar to keep you fed and watered throughout the day. The promenade and beach are just across the road meaning that your holiday really does start here. Llandudno Pier is just a few minutes walk with it's attractions and gift shops. The town centre is a short walk providing a great selection of shops and restaurants.
