Lakes & Dales Grand Getaway

CARTMEL, HAVERTHWAITE STEAM TRAIN & GRAND AFTERNOON TEA
Begin the day with a stop in the ancient village of Cartmel, famous for its 12th century priory, racecourse and the home of sticky toffee pudding. After which we travel to Haverthwaite for our nostalgic steam train journey to Lakeside.  Then it’s back to the hotel for your Grand Afternoon Tea which will include a delicious array of sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee served in the lounge.

SKIPTON & THE DALES
After a hearty breakfast this morning join your fellow coach passengers as we take a lovely tour of the Yorkshire Dales this morning with a stop in the market town of Skipton. You'll have a few hours to explore this charming market town before our tour back along through the wonderful Yorkshire Dales scenery towards Grassington where you have a stop then we return to the hotel where your delicious evening meal awaits.

WINDERMERE LAKE CRUISE, BOWNESS & AMBLESIDE
This morning we make the short journey to Lakeside where you will then enjoy a lovely 40 min cruise to Bowness on the other side of the lake. You can enjoy time here for lunch in one of the many cafes or restaurants then relax and enjoy the wonderful Windermere vistas.  In the afternoon we visit the lovely town of Ambleside which sits at the top of Lake Windermere and is full of lovely shops to explore, along with the stunning scenery.  Enjoy some time here before we return to the hotel in Grange.
